1. The Culinary Info Clips Contest (hereinafter called the "Contest") is run by Olymel inc. (Hereinafter called the "Promoter"). The contest takes place in Canada only from 0:00 am [EST] on March 21, 2011, until noon [EST] on November 30, 2011. Any reference in these Official Rules regarding the time refers to Eastern Standard Time [EST].

ELIGIBILITY

2. This contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province as of March 21, 2011, and are working in the foodservice or food retail industry. Excluded are the corporation running the contest, Olymel S.E.C., its subsidiaries and divisions, and its employees, representatives, agents, representatives of advertising or promotion agencies and all other companies associated with this contest, or jury members and, respectively, the people with whom they are domiciled.

3. Participants agree to sign a declaration stating they are not employees, representatives or agents of Olymel S.E.C or domiciled with an employee, representative or agent of Olymel S.E.C. This statement will be included in the declaration and liability waiver. Participants must also state on the form their address, occupation and name of their employer to confirm that they are not among those excluded from participation in the contest. Upon request, potential winners must show valid photo identification to validate their name and address.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

4. You can enter the contest without purchasing Olymel products.

5. To enter the contest, visit www.olymelfork.com (hereinafter called the "Website") and follow the on-screen instructions. Participation cannot be done other than through the Website.

6. It should be noted that only one new account per participant per email address and street address can be created. The term "participant" as defined in the Official Rules means an individual with one email address and one street address. Therefore, it is forbidden to register via several email addresses or street addresses. Moreover, the promoter reserves the right, at any time, to ask participants and winners to present their official identification with photo and address. Upon refusal to present official identification, the promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant.

Opening an account on the first visit.

7. Click "Enter" on the contest homepage. You will then be directed to the entry page that allows you to participate in the contest. Complete the electronic entry form (hereinafter called the "Entry Form"). You must enter your contact information (last name, first name, email address, city, province, language and phone number), and answer a question related to a culinary info clips. Read and accept the Official Rules by clicking on "I have read and understood the Contest Rules", then click "Submit". If you do not agree to comply with the Official Rules, you will be unable to participate online. The entry form must be completed in full and you must agree to the Official Rules before entering the contest. After registering, an email will be sent to the address specified in your entry. This email will validate your email address as active.

Subsequent visits.

8. For subsequent participations, come back at www.olymelfork.com when a new culinary info clip is posted, sign in using your email address, and answer another question related to the new culinary info clip.

9. A number of culinary info clips, to be determined by Olymel S.E.C, will be posted on the website during the contest. The participant is allowed to participate only once per culinary info clip.

10. A total of four (4) draws will be held during the contest, on each of the draw dates from all eligible entries received. Each entry gives one (1) chance to win on every draws to come until the end of the contest.

11. To be eligible for a draw, all entries must be received before the draw (see paragraph 16 for draw dates and time).

PRIZES

12. There will be a total of four (4) prizes, including one (1) Grand Prize and three (3) secondary prizes.

13. Three (4) secondary prizes - Each secondary prizes consist of a $100 Best Buy gift certificate including taxes.

14. One (1) Grand Prize - The Grand Prize consists of a $1000 gift certificate towards the purchase of a trip to a destination of your choice. A cheque will be issued directly to a travel agency selected by Olymel S.E.C., where the winner will have to purchase the trip. In the event that the amount of the trip including taxes is less than $1000, the Promoter agrees to pay the winner the difference.

15. The winner will have a period of six (6) months to take advantage of the prize (purchase the trip). If the winner wishes to purchase a trip that's more expensive than the value of Grand Prize offered, the winner will be responsible for the additional costs.

DRAWS

16. For each draw, winners will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received before the time of draw. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

17. The draws will be held at Olymel's Boucherville Office at the following dates :

  • 1st draw : The first draw will be held at noon on June 3, 2011. The winner will receive the first secondary prize.

  • 2nd draw : The second draw will be held at noon on September 2, 2011. The winner will receive the second secondary prize.

  • 3rd draw : The third draw will be held at noon on December 1, 2011. The winner will receive the third and last secondary prize.

  • 4th draw : The final draw will be held at noon on December 2, 2011. The winner will receive the Grand Prize.

18. The entry limit is set at one (1) entry maximum per culinary info clip per participant with one email address and one street address during the Contest Period.

19. The odds of winning one (1) prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the contest period.

PRIZE CLAIM

20. To be declared winners, participants eligible for a prize must comply with the following conditions:

  1. They must have met all the conditions described in these Official Rules.

  2. They must be reached by telephone within fifteen (15) days following the draw by the Contest organizers at the number indicated on the entry after their code has been validated as a winner in the instant prize contest, or within fifteen (15) days after the draw date in the case of the Facebook photo contest;

  3. They must complete and return (by fax or mail, or as indicated) the declaration and liability waiver mentioned below, within fifteen (15) days of receipt or within the time stipulated by the promoter.

  4. They must correctly answer, unaided and within a limited time, the skill-testing mathematical question, which will appear on the declaration and liability waiver specified of these Official Rules.

22. Failure to meet any of the conditions mentioned above, will automatically disqualify the eligible participant, who then forfeits any right to a prize.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

23. Secondary prizes will be awarded to the winners within six (6) months, as long as the Contest promoters have received the duly completed and signed declaration and release liability form.

24. The Grand Prize will be awarded to the winners within six (6) months or once the winner has purchadsed his or her trip, as long as the Contest promoters have received the duly completed and signed declaration and release liability form.

25. Entries are subject to verification by the Contest organizers. All entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, illegible, non-compliant with these Official Rules or received after the Contest period will be automatically rejected. The organizers' decision to this effect is final and without appeal. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

26. Prizes must be accepted as described in these Official Rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of equal or greater value if the prize cannot be awarded as described.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

27. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information by the Sponsor and/or authorized agents for the purposes of administering the Contest and awarding the prize. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use and disclosure to the public of their names, addresses (city, province), voices, statements and photographs or other likenesses for publicity purposes in connection with the Contest in any media or formats, including but not limited to the Internet, without notice, permission or compensation. Except as otherwise set out in these Official Rules, no communication, commercial or otherwise, that is not related to this Contest, will be sent to entrants by the Sponsor, except if the entrant has otherwise authorised the Sponsor, or its affiliated companies, when appropriate to do so. Personal information will not otherwise be used or disclosed without consent.

RELEASES

28. The selected entrant releases the Sponsor, as well as its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, their partners, their employees, agents and representatives from all responsibility for any damage that could result from the acceptance, and/or use (or non-acceptance or non-use) of his or her prize. In order to be declared a winner, and prior to receiving his or her prize, the selected entrant agrees to sign a standard declaration and release form to this effect.

29. The selected entrant acknowledges that upon receipt of a prize, the execution of services and product quality prize become the sole and exclusive responsibility of the prize supplier and relevant guarantees will be the exclusive responsibility of the prize manufacturers, suppliers, distributors or retailers. To be declared a winner and prior to receiving his or her prize, the selected entrant agrees to sign a statement to that effect, which will be included in the declaration and liability waiver.

30. The Contest organizers and Sponsor are released from all responsibility related to the malfunctioning of any software components, software, lines of communication related to the loss or absence of the communication network, or related to any failed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or erased transmission by any computer, fax or network, and which could limit or prevent the possibility of any person from entering the Contest.

31. The Contest organizers and Sponsor are released from all responsibility for any damage or loss whatsoever that could be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by downloading any software and by the transmission of any information required for entry in the Contest.

32. Olymel releases all stores and chains from any liability relating ot this contest.

OTHER

33. For the purposes of these Official Rules, the entrant is the person whose name is registered as an entrant on the Contest site. It is this said person who will be asked the mathematical skill-testing question and to whom the prize will be awarded if they are declared the winner.

34. No correspondence will be entered into except with potential winners. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

35. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude from this Contest and any future Contest or promotion held by the Sponsor, any person convicted or suspected of having tampered with the processing of ballots or running of the Contest or the Contest website, violating the Official Rules or acting unfairly or destructively, or with the intent to harass, torment, threaten or harass another person.

36. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

RIGHT TO TERMINATE

37. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to annul, terminate, extend or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, in the event of a virus, software bug, unauthorized human intervention or any other cause beyond the control of the Sponsor, which could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal running of this Contest.

38. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et de jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
